The Toreador Primogen seems to have a hat fixation, as she is never seen without some stylish headgear, often worn over a patterned head scarf. Observant characters may note the scar just above the bridge of her nose, often concealed by such headgear.

Background: A precocious piano prodigy, Fable Caron’s embrace was the unfortunate result of a moment of passion. Her Sire, Cassandra Stark was so enthralled with the child’s musical ability, she embraced her on the spot. Regretful of her actions, but determined to nurture the fledgeling’s talent, Cassandra took her new protege away from her home in New Orleans (where the elder Vampire feared persecution for breaking the Tradition of Progeny), and set up a new home for them in New Paris’s Barrett district.

In New Paris, Fable Caron thrived under the watchful eye of her Sire, and that of the other Toreador in city. Once she overcame the initial fear and confusion brought on by the embrace, Fable was groomed for power within the Clan and the City. From Performer and Entertainer, to Whip, Harpy,to Primogen – all with the nearly unanimous support of her clan.

In these nights, Fable takes her position as Primogen seriously, though she would much rather be in her Victory Heights studio composing music. A proponent of classical piano as well as the harpsichord, Fable (or her music), is a regular staple at the Victory Theater; and the only complaint about their leader from the Toreador rank and file is her unwillingness to throw herself fully into the nightly games of Elysium and Intrigue.

Fable’s leadership decisions tend to reflect her very modern – human-centric philosophies, and the Toreador Primogen has never supported any act by the Prince or the Council that didn’t somehow further the cause of Humanity, either the kine around them or within the Kindred themselves. Fable Caron is an agent – not just of civilization – but of enlightenment within the Camarilla hierarchy.
